PROJECT OBJECTIVE
In this project, I was tasked with redesigning the NASA App. I will be focusing on redesigning its landing page, planet page, video page and loading screen.
As seen above In its current layout design, the app lacks in functionality and user experience. I started out my sketches with the brief focusing on the visual aspects of black holes and star births.
When cleaning up my comps, I started focusing more on the functionality of being able to access different parts of the app whilst using a single hand. Thus buttons and interactive sections are centered around the right middle to bottom area of the screens.
Finalized Compositions
In this stage I focused on (1) cleaning up the layouts, (2) adding textures and images, and (3) making sure that the style choices were intentional and unified among the pages.
